Energy Saving Windows
All Haven Casement Windows can now achieve window energy ratings of ‘A-C’ dependent on the type of glazing used. This is as certified by the BFRC. BFRC Ltd (the British Fenestration Rating Council) is the UK’s national system for rating Energy Efficient Windows. Our registered ‘Energy Efficient Windows’ all include the BFRC logo, highlighting how well our windows perform in:
All of our windows and doors provide excellent acoustic insulation. We are an authorised Super Spacer® Dealership Fabricator and, when using this spacer system in our insulating glass units, our products boost noise reduction by up to 2dB. As a replacement to aluminium spacer Edgetech's Super Spacer® also allows for expansion and contraction, a major cause of fractures in conventional sealed units. In accelerated testing Super Spacer has been shown to last over twice as long as other dual seal systems and five times longer than single seal systems.
Haven Products are manufactured in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. Window Warehouse seeks to continually minimise the environmental footprint and impact of its products, by focusing on using the best quality materials and recycling all off-cuts, steel and cardboard used. Our environmental policy encompasses minimising waste and energy use as well as encouraging any other suggestions to aid its efforts. |

The Energy Saving Trust supports the BFRC’s domestic window energy rating system (WER) by accrediting any window rated band C or above, helping consumers to make comparisons. Up to 20% of heat is lost through poorly insulated window frames and single glazed windows per year. Our superior double-glazing manufacturing could cut your customers bills by up to £140. It could also cut their CO² emissions by 720kg, the equivalent of 4 double-decked buses each year.
With carbon emissions high on the global agenda and the current high cost of fuel, consumers are looking for ways to make their homes more energy efficient. Installing Energy Efficient Windows could reduce your customer’s carbon footprint by 18%, almost reaching the Government target of 20% reduction per household. Our eco-friendly frames and sashes are fully recyclable and extremely low maintenance.
